Rajvir Jawanda’s cause of death
On September 27, 2025, Rajvir was on a road trip, and he met with an accident near Himachal Pradesh’s Baddi. According to the hospital statement shared by ANI, multiple organ failure has been cited as the cause of death. “Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda passed away at 10:55 AM on October 8, 2025, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. He was admitted on September 27, 2025, in an extremely critical condition following a road accident that caused severe spinal injuries and brain damage. Despite extensive medical support and continuous monitoring by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, he succumbed to multiple organ failure this morning. Our deepest condolences to his family and fans,” reads the statement.
What exactly happened?
Reports state that a stray cattle came in front of his vehicle suddenly, and he lost control. Under extremely severe circumstances, he was admitted to the city hospital. He had a heart attack there and was then referred and transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann confirmed that Rajvir was admitted under critical conditions, and he suffered severe injuries to his brain and spine.
As time went by, the hospital officials provided frequent updates, indicating that the singer’s physical and neurological condition showed no notable improvement. He was in critical care and continued to rely on life support.
Further, addressing the media, Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh said Rajvir had suffered two spinal fractures and a broken neck. His oxygen supply to the brain was critically affected; thus, he was on a ventilator for 11 days.
