Anne Hathaway is back as Andy Sachs and this time around, she’s kicking thins off with her fashion game on-point. The Oscar-winning actress set social media ablaze after unveiling her first look, from the highly anticipated film ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’. Filming officially began on the streets of New York, with Hathaway dressed to the nines with her bag in hand and a phone to her ear as she strutted along the busy city streets, shooting for her scene. The actress was seen dressed in a sharp suit paired with classic black shoes in a pic she captioned as, “Andy Sachs 2025 #dwp2.” Tracie Thoms also took to Instagram to post, “And we’re BACK! Day 1 of ‘THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2’! Andy and Lily together again after 20 whole years!!! I’ve been pinching myself all morning…WOW! We’re off to the races now! (And it was totally worth that 4:35am pickup!) Love you [Anne Hathaway!]”Going by the photos that were posted online, Anne also had a costume change and switched from her power suit to a colourful dress which she rocked with a hat and hit the streets with a suitcase. The actress was seen standing along with a bunch of people as they filmed a scene that had her crossing a busy city street.After the film’s debut nearly 20 years ago, Hathaway returns to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ alongside Meryl Streep, reprising her legendary role as Miranda Priestly, as well as Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt returning as their characters.While plot details remain under tight wraps, reports suggest the sequel will explore the evolving relationship between Andy and Miranda in a rapidly changing media landscape. According to Variety, the storyline will follow Andy — now a seasoned journalist — as she finds herself at odds once again with her former boss, who is grappling with the decline of traditional print publishing.In addition to the returning core cast, The Devil Wears Prada 2 will also feature an impressive lineup of new faces, including Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak, and Pauline Chalamet.
